Full Job Description
Job purpose- System Administrator

As system administrator, you will be responsible for technical support for production incidents, must be proficient at diagnosing and troubleshooting problems. You will provide technical support to teams within the organization.

What will you do?

Investigate and troubleshoot requests received from other teams including log trace review.
Escalate issues (when required) to the appropriate experienced technician and track them until solved.
Monitor the system and check received alerts taking troubleshoot measures to solve them.
Create and maintain documentation. This includes record, track and document requests and problem-solving process, including all actions taken through to final resolution.
Assist as technical source in conference calls with team when required.
Contribute with ideas for continuous improvement.

What do you need to know?

Experience on various systems, openshift and microservices.
Experienced with system monitoring of the different application stack components.
Should have experience with the below tech stack:
Grafana
ELK (Kibana and ElasticSearch)
Kubernetes/Openshift
RabbitMQ
Jenkins
Git
PostgreSQL
It’s also valuable knowledge on:
Groovy
Ansible
Cassandra
Zookeeper
Zuul
Keycloak
Software programming knowledge (Java, .NET, C#)
Soft skills :
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the Application deployment cycle.
Availability to work on different shifts.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Proven IT background (more than 3 years hands-on systems administration)

Valuable certications and courses

System administration.
RHEL certifications and courses.
Openshift certifications is a plus.
