Key Responsibilities : Monitor batch jobs Report/resolve issues and batch scheduling changes in CA7 tool Set up CA7 calendars, late job analysis, review abends and suggest improvements Review daily abend reports and recommend batch improvisations Perform the functions against jobs on CA7 queues Invoke Workload Forecasting commands Code JCL Override statements Use CA7 variables Access and Create CA7 documentation Handle CA7 virtual resources

Technical Experience : Well versed with Mainframe environment and CA7 batch tool on Mainframe Very good experience with JCL coding Expertise with batch scheduling tools – particularly in CA-7 But good to have skills in other scheduling tools alongside TWS/OPC, Control-M, CA-ESP Experience to monitor consoles and other monitoring tools for various alerts and report as required Experienced to support Production/LIVE batch environment in 24×7 support model -Support critical issues within scope and report updates
