Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities : A: Migration upgrade projects of the client facing SQL servers from older versions to newer B: SQL Server service pack upgrades to the latest version as per Microsoft guidelines C: Decommissioning of old SQL Servers Jobs functions are more routine operational than development engineering D: Perform disaster recovery concepts like Backup and Restore and high availability features mirroring

Technical Experience : A: Should have 8 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to 2016 2019 Database Administration B: Preferably having scripting knowledge especially PowerShell TSQL is added advantage C: Manage and support DB instances and databasesDay to day support
