Key Responsibilities : 1-Experience with database design, normalisation and producing architecture diagrams 2-Strong SybaseDatabase Administration experience to diagnose DB issues without help of third party tools 3-Analyze and assess the impact and risk of medium to high risk changes on high profile production databases and execute them successfully 4-Create and review system recovery plans to meet SLAs 5-Review the problem management register and identify and implement actions 6-Automate all the manual tasks

Technical Experience : 1-Detailed knowledge about Sybase v157 and above new features2-Experience setting up and maintenance of Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ on Linux and Windows platforms 3-Product Migration experience from Sybase lower version to higher 4-Setting up Replication server for Sybase for Database level and Object level replication 5-Ability to troubleshoot High Availability issues to ensure Availability as per SLA 6-Strong skills in data movement utilities, Backup and Recovery 7-Checking database consistency

Professional Attributes : 1-Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization 2-Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision 3-Flexible to work in 24/7 shift 4-Experience of handling a Team

Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree

Additional Information : 1-ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certified 2-Certification on Sybase and any Cloud Technologies
