Project Role :Application Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities : 1-Administer NetBackup Master and Media servers as well as HP Data Protector 2-Perform day to day backups/restores 3-Monitor backup jobs, rescheduling failed jobs as appropriate 4-Generate Daily Status Reports for backup environment 5-Provide troubleshooting support for backups and services utilizing backups 6-Proactively monitor and resolve problems with backup and services utilizing backups 7- Collaboratively investigate outages and issues to correct problems and properly address risks

Technical Experience : 1-In-depth knowledge in installation, monitoring, and performance analysis of enterprise backup systems 2-Demonstrate experience with Veritas NetBackup and HP Data Protector Demonstrated experience identifying performance bottlenecks in a backup environment 3-Experience with tape backup technologies , SQL, ORACLE, VMWARE and SAP HANA 4- Experience with offsite tape rotation, vaulting and tracking 5-Experience with meeting requirements related to RTOs
