Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities : 1 Installing, administrating and maintaining large scale Vmware vCloud and vSphere infrastructure 2 Manage and operate vRA vRO integrated with Ansible and Salt 3 Virtual machine provisioning and manage inventory 4 Run Day to Day tasks related to compute infrastructure 5 Server infrastructure performance monitoring and tuning 6 Linux and Windows OS administration 7 Server hardware maintenance and configuration – VXblock, Cisco UCS and VXRack 8 Mitigate hypervisor and OS vulnerabilities

Technical Experience : 1 Expertise in Installing, administrating and maintaining large scale Vmware vCloud and vSphere infrastructure 2 Managing and operating vRA vRO integrated with Ansible and Salt 3 Should have provisioned Virtual machines and managed inventory 4 Should be able to run BAU tasks related to compute infrastructure 5 Well versed with server infrastructure performance monitoring and tuning 6 Sound knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration 7 Server hardware maintenance and configuration
