Accountant – Faridabad – DIVYA Placement Consultants Full Time

We are looking for Accountant
 

Qualifications:
o A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is a must.
o Postgraduate qualifications like M.Com, MBA (Finance), or professional certifications can be preferred.
 

Experience:
o Typically requires 5-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing roles.
o Familiarity with Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) and corporate accounting practices is essential.
 

Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IND AS) and tax regulations.
o Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
o Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.
o Experience with ERP systems and accounting automation tools is a plus.
 

Communication Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and CA.
o Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
 

Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant:

1. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements).
Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and comply with Indian accounting standards (IND AS) and regulatory requirements.
 

2. General Ledger and Account Reconciliation:
Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts.
Ensure that all journal entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
 

3. Taxation:
Prepare and file tax returns, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), income tax, and other applicable taxes.
Work closely with our CA to manage assessments, audits, and tax-saving strategies.
 

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations from budgeted figures.
