Backup Job Description:Should have good knowledge on CA Arch (Arcserve)NetBackupPure Snapshot BackupTechnical skills:
Should have sound knowledge on Arcserve backup tool both Backup and restores and Tape exports& imports, drive maintenance..
Ability to maintain and work with Quantum Scalar i6000 tape library Tape exports and imports, drive maintenance.
Performs day-to-day and complex system administration and monitoring tasks for assigned systems. Works with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve technical system problems in a timely manner with a primary focus on complex problems.
Should have sound knowledge of NetBackup especially in restorations within the SLA.
Having experience in Pure snapshot backup is desirable.
ability to work on configuring backups and schedules both SAN and NAS environments in Arcserve and NetBackup tools.
Should work with vendor to perform upgrades of Arcserve, NetBackup, Tape library as per recommendation.
Having knowledge in any of storage i.e NetApp/Hitachi/Pure will be advantages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Administer Hosted Data Center Hitachi, HCI and NetApp Storage infrastructure including performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required
Install, patching and configuration of new / rebuild existing storage infrastructure in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Work with peers too ensure effective patching process in place to comply with ACI Corporate patching process.
Provide 24 x 7 1st -3rd line support for operational and security incidents.
Work with other member of team in engineering of infrastructure solutions for various project and operational needs.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Ensure effective communication of changes and updates to relevant internal departments and third-party suppliers.
Manage server infrastructure in line with PCI and ACI internal security and audit requirement
Perform other duties as assigned.
