• Ensuring trouble free operation of Lab Equipment’s, Assurance of Fuel quality.
• Monitoring of Ash parameters as per given norms
• Planning and maintaining Fine chemical inventory.
• Coordinate Sampling and analysis of Fuel/Coal
• Calibration check of lab instruments.
• Preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures for lab
• Implementation of CHETNA in own vertical.
• Preparation of the equipment pre check list and compliance of OHSH requirement
• To coordinate with the supporting departments (Mech., Elect. C&I, Civil) to maintain the

equipment availability.

• Implementation of the safe operation practices and ensuring the safety of person and

equipment.

• Ensuring the availability of spares and chemical required for testing and analysis.
• Ensure the calibration and availability of the preparation equipment’s, testing instruments

and analysers.

• Identify of the Unsafe act, Unsafe condition and JSA for the activity performed.
• Attending the dept. safety committee meeting along with the agency.
• Identification of the routine/non routine activity and preparing the HIRA for the activity.
• Conduct Job Safety awareness program and report any incident in the own vertical.
• Adhere to the PPEs of the self, agency employees as per work requirement
