• Run and maintain the CHP with optimum load and efficiency to achieve to support

generation.

• Run and maintain all CHP Equipment’s – fire and dust suppression systems & man power

planning.

• Management of Stack yard (FIFO) and CHP drains management in all seasons
• Check the defects and follow up work order and pursue permits
• Handle different emergencies in a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) & ensure maintaining high

standards of safety

• Responsibility for implementation of CHETNA.
• Responsible for deployment of Safety Officer and compliance of OHS requirements for

contractor safety management.

• Recognition of Unsafe Acts, Unsafe Conditions, authorising/ checking of PTW System, create/

Review of JSA, report any near miss, inspecting safety before carrying out the work and
ensuring proper housekeeping when the work is carried out.

• Responsible for Identification of routine/ non-routine activities and mitigation of Hazard

Identified. Responsible for identify and report any hazardous process

• Responsible for compliance of Safety audit/ inspections in SAP- EHMS.
• Reporting each & every incident, participation in Investigation and implementation of CAPA.

Conducting ARTT as per schedule.

• Adherence to PPE’s as per work requirements – Self / Agency employees.
• Ensuring proper safety at working height, confined place and in high fire risk area.
