1. Monitoring of Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP, Electrical Systems etc.
2. Start up and shut down of the above system.
3. Safe isolation and normalization of equipment.
4. Handling the emergencies.
5. Routine changeover of equipment and trial of emergency drives.
6. Handling the emergencies (internal / grid problems)
7. Preparation of permit for issuing to maintenance.
8. Following PTW systems. SOPs.
9. Notifying and timely reporting about defects, problems in plant to shift in
charge.
10. Developing and grooming sub ordinates.
11. Close observation of parameters and respond to deviations.
12. Keeping Energy conservation in all activities. (SOC, APC, DM Water, Heat
Rate).
13. Maintaining all documents as per standards.
14. Supporting / following HR initiatives (PMS, Surveys, Meetings)
15. To maintain cordial relation with counter parts of maint.
16. To follow organisation culture and values.
17. Implementation of 5S and IMS in the department.
