Role Purpose
Manage sourcing and purchase of the specified spend category, develop and sustain vendor relationships and negotiate best price points, thereby meeting specifications of quality, timelines within the stipulated budgetary requirements. Assisting in Category Management of HEMM for Group Purchasing.

Qualifications
Job Specification
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/ mining engg./ finance/ operations/ engineering, or a related area .
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in purchasing management of HEMM, buying, or commodity management
Experience in working with e-Procurement systems and tools (SAP and other financial reporting tools, contract management tool, reverse auctions, etc.)
Hands-on experience in executing contracts and entering into commercial transactions for Capital Goods of medium/ large size Power/ Infrastructure projects, estimation and cost Engineering
Demonstrate methodical and precise approach towards commercial and contractual execution
Knowledge of the overall purchasing process, strategic sourcing, and procurement related systems and supplier relationship management.
Comprehensive knowledge of Mining & HEMM (OB & Coal Contracts, Monsoon And Misc. activities, Mining Contract Management, Innovation in Mining, Project Estimation, Cost Optimization, Third Party Survey).
Logistics and Transportation- Rake Loading and Siding Management, Cost Benchmarking.
Procurement of HEMM for Group & BU, HEMM Hiring, Tree Trans-planter, All equipment other than HEMM (Tractor, Water Tanker, Sprinkler etc., De-Forestation and Tree Transplantation).
Coordination with planning team, Tender Preparation, Contract Drafting, BD/CA Support & Strategy.
