Essential Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mechanical)

Desired Qualification: MBA / PGDM

Essential Area of Expertise:

• First-hand experience in executing Procurement transactions of Mechanical items for CAPEX / OPEX required for day to day functioning of plant

• Estimation and cost engineering of Mechanical & civil items.

• Commercial understanding of the business drivers and their commercial implications.

• Exclusive knowledge on Industrial business and well integrated with all functions.

• E-Auction & e-Procurement

• SAP MM Modules

Desired Area of Expertise :

• Around 4 + years of experience in procurement of Mechanical & civil items for Thermal Power Plant otherwise large core industries like Steel/Cement, etc.

• Knowledge about supplier base for power plant mechanical equipment’s, fuels, spares & services.

Critical/ Special exposure:

• Knowledge of latest procurement techniques, methodologies

Qualifications

Head – AHP Operation (DGM / AGM)

Purpose of the Position (Why the job exists in the company & the expected outcome)

Responsible for all operation of all concerned equipment of the AHP / ESP system at Tiroda thermal power plant. He has to follow SOP and coordinate with his superiors, peers & supervisors for safe, reliable, quality and cost effective maintenance. Maintain ESP emission within norms.

Principle Accountabilities
(Strategic, Operational, Financial, People development & growth etc.)

• Operate the AHP equipment in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

• Supervision of AHP & ESP operational activities & HCSD system availability and Silo area.

• Follow safety practices strictly.

• Give Training, Coaching and new technology improvements of concern equipment to subordinates to improve the plant efficiency.

• Ensure 100 % availability of all equipment’s of AHP & ESP area.

• Follow the SOP of all the equipment’s of AHP & ESP side and strict Compliance of SOP / IMS / EnMS / 5S System and its procedure.

• Responsible for implementation of CHETNA in dept.

• Planning & Monitoring of PTW System of AHP Area.

• Reviewing of HIRA as per requirement of AHP Area

• Actively participating in the Departmental Safety Committee Meetings

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitoring of AHP, ESP operation & Electrical Systems.

• Ensure Safe isolation and normalization of equipment.

• Handling the emergency situations.

• Monitoring the routine changeover of equipment and trial of emergency drives.

• Handling the emergencies (internal / grid problems)

• Monitoring about defects, problems in AHP, HCSD and Silo area.

• Continuously improve AHP & ESP to optimize the plant’s availability, reliability and efficiency.

• Maintain positive working relationships with employees, to satisfy internal and external customers of the station.

• Monitoring of work place inspection & Equipment specific inspection.

• Providing training to subordinates for CHETNA.

• Planning for checking of PTW System for system implementation & Healthiness.

• Adherence to PPE’s as per work requirements – Dept. Staff/ Agency employees
