Key Accountabilities & deliverables

Business Development

• Identify and establish new potential customers for the port
• Add new clients and new cargo year by year to achieve revenue growth
• Convert leads/ opportunities into business by preparing commercial offers, negotiations with customers, establishing agreements and successfully establishment of new business agreements
• Develop the market and establish Adani’s brand name in the respective coast sector
• Explore industries to establish bigger footprint and fulfil bigger accounts
• Market Adani as an end-to-end solutions provider

Planning & monitor

• Plan, budget and achieve annual customer wise cargo and respective revenue as per expectation of the management for target setting.
• Ensure month on month targets are achieved
• Ensure all documentation is in place for all customers being serviced

Stakeholder Management

• Co-ordinate between customer and port operations, marine and accounts for serving customers’ requirements
• Maximize customer delight and sustain & strengthen client relationships and ensure complete solution delivery
• Maintain relationships with port community, influence custom house agents and ship brokers, suppliers of cargo to enhance business growth, other dry cargo networking community.
• Liaison with railway authorities to ensure smooth cargo movement and customer contract fulfilment
• Support in policy advocacy
• Liaison with local government as and when needed

Servicing Contracts

• Arrange correct invoicing against signed agreements and timely collection of the payment against service provided
• Re-negotiate contracts wherever needed to incorporate more suitable terms and conditions

Market Analysis

• Ensure competitors are analyzed to explore options of business growth
• Use analysis to positively influence customers

People Development

• Lead and motivate sales team to achieve targets of the sales department, ensure smooth functioning and enable customer satisfaction.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline

Experience

Experience of working in large scale manufacturing or services organization
