Responsible for efficient, quality, and reliable maintenance of Generator, Auxiliary & Excitation system, HT&LT switchgears, HT & LT motors, Power & Distribution Transformers.

Total responsibility of CHETNA Safety initiatives in the section.

Responsible for cost reduction & cost control in maintenance activities

Identification of spares and maintaining inventory

Responsible for cost reduction & cost control in maintenance activities.

Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of different Preventive, predictive, routine and break down maintenance work activities of electrical equipment.

Technical/engineering expertise & guidance in identifying, fault analysis and resolution of problems of electrical maintenance.

Monitor contractors and direct them to perform work. Ensuring job safety during the job execution.

Perform PM,RM,CBM, break down maintenance

Continuous equipment monitoring & RCA, trending of various electrical tests in the assigned area.

Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other important goals

Commission of new electrical installation system

Knowledge of all electrical equipment, maintenance of generator, transformers, relays, relay setting & trouble shooting.

Ensuring zero accident, sustaining high level of generation by minimizing unit outages, Trouble Shooting, Spare planning

Preparation & review of scope of works for contracts & technical details of spares and equipment.
