As the development manager, you will have technical ownership of mission critical systems and you’ll lead a talented and nimble team of engineers who can conceive the next generation ML products that raise the bar for customer experience across various parts of Amazon. In this role, you will be responsible for building platforms over latest cloud based technologies, to make the tedious task of building ML applications seamless, while also delivering end-to-end applications consuming Amazon’s big data ecosystem, using cutting-edge AWS & ML technologies, edge ML and IOT to power automated decisions at scale in different parts of the company.
Responsibilities include direct management of 4-8 engineers, process and quality of service improvements, hiring, strategic planning, project management for software within the team, and management of resources across teams. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery.

• Experience developing scalable implementations of ML algorithms and modeling pipelines
• Master’s/ PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
