• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in product or program management, UI/UX design or building large scale consumer applications.
• Experience working on Android, iOS, Windows or other mobile software/embedded applications
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition with rigorous execution.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions and strategy related to product architecture

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a bold customer-focused product strategy and vision for the next generation of devices
• Lead multiple initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle – from ideation to development to launch.
• Define creative, high quality, long term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
• Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Operations Go to Market, PR, and other Product teams
• Create buy-in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners
• Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.

This could mean defining a vision, working on PR/FAQs or identifying ways to delight our customers by looking at customer feedback. You could be working with our internal partners (engineering, commercial, PR) to make product/design decisions, or with our external partners (brands) to launch these products.

• MBA or MS
• Experience working with Smart TV platforms, SoCs and manufacturers
• Experience in the TV, Media, Cable Industry a plus
• Experience working with partners in a partner facing role
• Experience in regulatory and compliance of consumer electronics products in India
• Experience in consumer devices, streaming media, voice driven A.I. virtual assistants, or related software experiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
• Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, to peers and developers and to senior leaders.
• Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features
• Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Comfortable challenging assumptions and thinking of creative ways to tackle problems
