Job Purpose Description

• To assess the quality of Billets from time to time to ensure right quality received from the supplier.
• To develop a quality culture through continual improvements and team working.
• Analyze reasons for external and internal and initiate, monitor and implement corrective actions, to prevent recurrence
• Ensure guidelines are followed in the case of products where special testing is required to satisfy the customer
• Liaison with external agencies for third party inspections.
• Initiate action plans to reduce customer complaints, sales return and internal rejection.
• Identify and train employees on any special needs identified for effective working of the systems to develop the right competencies.
• Monitoring of the KPI’s on monthly basis & initiating the plans to achieve to meet the requirements.
• Visit to Customers for understanding customer perceptions Understand Customer process and applications.
• Provide inputs for developing customer specific practices. Develop/modify products based on customer inputs.
• Lead Quality control subcommittee, Deployment of QC tools.
• Implementation of Quality control projects.
• Carry out RCA (5 why, fish bone, 8D)
• Have an advanced understanding of product, process and system standards and requirements relevant to aluminium extrusion
