Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Supporting Actions
Successful deployment & Implementation: of Sustainable Mining Charter in Hindalco’s Mining.
Help in fixing Goals on seven thematic Areas of entire mining leases of Hindalco. Have management and technical standards and guidance notes such that each mines will improve its sustainable Mining system to achieve superior performance.
Development of Sustainable Mines documentation.
Development of partnerships with SMEs, think tanks, experts, in collaboration with businesses on aspects of energy & carbon, water, waste, air emissions, noise, contaminated site management, biodiversity, sustainable infrastructure etc.
Work with mines group on to develop Sustainable management systems: to meet global best practice and to reduce impact to as low as reasonably practical.
Development of Actionable roadmaps for Sustainable projects through deployment of SMC documents.
Support assurance team in development / enhancement of assessment framework
Manage Local Economic activities through social need assessments
Design innovative projects and implement through Implementation partners.
Formation of SMC across the mines and training them to become SMEs in different Sustainability framework.
Through various Experts in this fields
Providing timely support and resources to site teams for various projects implementation of Sustainability
Through Regular reviews & Site visits.
Biodiversity Management of Mines.
Through preparing BMP and implementations.
Design and implement various low carbon and renewable energy programs for Mines.
Focus on Solar plants and other Nature based carbon sequestration.
Carry out long term planning & budgeting
For each projects either three or five years plans to be prepared and every year it has to be planned during yearly P & B exercise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Science – Engineer,Master in Environmental Sci.
Minimum Experience Level:
5-6 Years
