- Prepare shift-wise production planning:
- Coordinate with SH to develop shift production plans according to internal customer requirements.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, and materials):
- Develop resource allocation plans.
- Plan for overtime if necessary.
- Coordinate with internal suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Minimize production losses due to breakdowns:
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for both preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure production adherence to SOPs and quality parameters:
- Monitor adherence to SOPs and quality parameters during production.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Process Control departments to address quality-related issues.
- Ensure machines are updated with the required programs.
- Generate shift reports for production, rejection, manpower, and productivity:
- Ensure timely availability of all shift reports on Oracle and maintain data integrity.
- Enforce housekeeping and safety regulations on the shop floor:
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Implement 5S principles and coordinate with the housekeeping department.
- Provide training to workmen on safety protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to internal customers:
- Coordinate with internal suppliers and customers to facilitate on-time delivery.
- Troubleshoot deviations from the plan:
- Coordinate with the Process Control and Maintenance departments to address any deviations.
