To ensure smooth testing of the lab (Spectrometer, micro, and UV). Also ensure to provide support in preparation of metallographic and black light inspection.

Major Challenge

HAAL has current capacity of 12000 MTPA of Hard Alloy Aluminum billets and slabs.

Major Challenges are 1. Metallographic Evaluation of the product, 2. Spectro analysis of the product, 3. Black light inspection of the finished product, 4. Preparation of the test certificates as per customer requirements.

Key Results Area And Accountabilities

• Accountability – Lab Inspection – Ensure timely lab inspection of the product – Spectro analysis of the product – micro structure analysis of the product – black light inspection for porosity – Preparation of quality reports – segregation checking of castings – monitoring hydrogen content in the product.
• Equipment Maintenance – Ensure all lab equipment’s are in working condition, – Standarization and calibration of of equipment’s – Preparation of lab standards for internal use – Planning & initiate procurements of lab consumables
• Quality Documentation – Provide support in quality documents preparation before dispatch – preparation of test certificates, checking of the products for meeting customer requirements – help in making decision for hold/ reject material.
• System Management – Provide support in implementation of AS 9100, OHSAS 18001 & EMS 140001 etc, Ensure all SOPs are intact of each process.
