Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions
- Business Excellence Measuring excavation area, over burden, topsoil, laterite accurately with respect mines. Overseeing removal of over burden, topsoil, laterite as per mining plan. Overseeing implementations of SOPs in all aspects of operation under jurisdiction.
- Cost Implementing budgets and achieving cost saving without compromising delivery by driving continuous process improvement across area of operation. Certifying work accurately to optimise cost.
- Cash Improving profitability by optimum deployment of contractors
- Customer Collaborating with operations team and contractors to make mines free of topsoil, over burden and laterite and ready for excavation of bauxite as per mining plan Minimizing response time in providing information and solutions to all internal and external customers
- Sustainability Implementing all statutory compliance within timelines by submitting the following to the Director General of Mine Safety (DGMS) on a quarterly basis: o surface plan o geological plan o water danger plan Implementing compliance of Integrated Management system and Energy Management System Overseeing good housekeeping practices in area under jurisdiction Partnering in green initiatives
- Safety Implementing Safety standards to achieve zero harm through implementation of safety standards such as LOTOTO, HIRA, 5S. Monitoring implementation of safety related training
- People development and engagement Monitoring intake and deployment of physically fit and appropriately trained contractual workforce and ensuring their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines. Monitoring implementation of contract management.
