Job Description

People Management, C++/C Development, AppraisalsResponsible for managing, leading and developing software engineering teams, planning software development projects, creation of documentation, and delivering software products for internal as well as external customers. This role also requires that the individual can interact and work with their counterparts globally to ensure effective delivery of the projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and ensuring consistent project planning, technical development, cost and risk management, and design rigor throughout all projects.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Execution: Drive the project planning, execution, and meeting deliverable goals
• Team Building: Hire strong engineers and build teams with core skills.
• Collaboration: Work with other organizations, including test/QA/Release, in releasing the product to customers
• Skill building: Developing and growing the engineering skills of the team
• Technical excellence: Responsible for conducting code review and ensuring code quality
• Performance management: facilitating of the software engineering team Interaction, coordination, and communications with counterparts across geographies.
• Leading brainstorming sessions, reviewing and providing input into engineering projects requirements.
• Driving critical issues and interface with cross functional teams
• Maintaining the productivity and morale of the team

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• MS, M Tech, BE Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 14 16 years of work experience
• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a People Manager in a software development
• Strong technical skills and experience in software product development using C / C++ in Linux and Windows environment
• Experience in x86 optimizations, and other performance critical technologies
• Having a good mathematical background and on Linear Algebra, FFT will be advantage
• Having experience in software performance analysis and optimization will be advantage
• Successful product lifecycle experience, from the conceptual stage through product launch and post-launch support
• Strong project management skills and experience with project management techniques such as scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Demonstrated disciplined approach to problem solving and ability to make business decisions in a technical environment
