Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and publish test cases on requirements gathering sessions.
• Conduct post release verification following a Production deployment.
• Record, assess and approve Tracking system issues, suggested ownership, priority and issues.
• Closely follow up on defects to progress on time and stick to defect tracking standards.
• Manage Production build and release management.
• Enhance testing capabilities guided by standard best practices, policies and procedures
• Execute Quality team to enhance bandwidth and testing cycles.
• Mentor QA analysts testing activities on test plan and test case development.
• Set up and manage communication between development teams.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology field
• Engineering background (Graduation in BE / BTech, BSC, BCA / MCA) is a pre-requisite
• Experience as Quality Analyst or Quality Manager undergone on at least two successful big & complex projects.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in managing at least 5 team members and remote management will be added advantage.
• Highly experience in using different Automated Test tools and able to recommend, implement and train other team members.
• Excellent documentation skills including test use scenarios.
• Understanding on ASP.NET web technology (ASP.NET, C#, C#.Net, MVC, VB.NET, ASP, IIS, web service etc.)
• Understanding on REST/SOAP API development in .NET technology.
• Understanding on Microsoft SQL Server, hands on experience in writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers etc.
• Knowledge of HTML / CSS / AJAX / JQuery and other client or server-based web tools.
• Knowledge on third-party hardware/IOT devices.
• Experienced in full software development lifecycle as well as Agile model.
• Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
• Understanding of latest technology such as microservice would be added advantage.
• Familiarity with UML Modeling
• Familiarity with process modeling techniques
• Experience in creating software architecture documents and other design artifacts

Personal Skills

• Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accent or dialect will not be a constraint
• Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment
• Work well with teams or in a team environment

Experience:

• A minimum of 7+ years is required
