Provides end-to-end support with import and export clearance lifecycle. Agilent uses a Global Trade Management software to perform self-declaration of clearances to the UK customs for most imports. For a small proportion of imports, manual clearance process is followed with the preferred Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) submitting customs clearance on Agilent’s behalf. The position will be based out of Manesar, Haryana, India.
The job holder will be responsible for:
End-to-end processing of Import and Export self-declarations using Agilent’s Global Trade Management software platform.
Providing manual clearance instructions to the LSPs where applicable, enabling LSPs to declare on Agilent’s behalf.
Review the declarations submitted by the LSP on Agilent’s behalf, and submit post clearance amendments where applicable, per established process.
Handling of key customers and priority shipments using the established escalation handling protocols.
Attending regular status reviews with UK Trade Management and the team to report progress and priorities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree, with preferred specialization in Business Management, International Business
At least 4 years’ experience, with preferred background in Logistics, Customs clearance/brokerage, Global Trade roles.
Good written and spoken English.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; comfortable learning how to use new systems.
SAP Knowledge, with preferred experience in SAP GTS.
Clear and effective communication over phone, via Teams/WebEx and by email.
Attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility and focus on priorities and process.
Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
