Air Liquide Hiring for Bulk Asset Manager (Bulk Asset Manager) at Delhi, Delhi Full Time

Summary/Objective

Managing the fleet to ensure > 98% availability at all AL facilities, in compliance with maintenance schedules, renewal of fleet compliance, operating budgets and organization objectives, for timely delivery of products to customers, Optimize the maintenance cost of fleets.

Key Responsibility

Health Safety & Environment:
Report all deviations, unsafe behaviors, unsafe situations, near misses, and accidents, incidents in the defined incident report format to AL India Safety.

To ensure Zero Fatality & Zero accident pertaining to Distribution & Logistics.

To provide support to Bulk Supply Chain Manager in line with Safety Score card & required actions for Improvement.

Review and Report all Act-In cards, Unsafe acts & conditions, incidents & accidents pertaining to Distribution & Logistics.

To log all incident/accidents & support in investigation of RCA for required incidents/accidents & closer of identified actions in time pertaining to Distribution & Logistics.

Road Safety

Road Safety Management process is effectively implemented in line with GP-06, within his/her perimeter, including:

Route Surveys:
To understand associated risks on the route.

To identify the resting places in coordination with Road Safety Master Trainer

Liaise with customers to support elements that improve road safety.

Ensure trip Planning considers

AL India Road safety rules

Elements from Route Surveys in the trip planning.

Feedback from Drivers on Safety

Conduct meetings and training with drivers when visiting facilities.

Implement actions from AL India Road Safety Action Plan.

Asset Control & VITT Maintenance

Responsible for safeguarding AL assets(VITT & it’s accessories), keeping track of it under his/her responsibility and updating the records with finance.

Ensure that VITT Maintenance process is effectively implemented in line with GP-09, including:

Process Owner for the implementation of GP-09 for VITT maintenance.

Establish a maintenance strategy, covering notably the maintenance approach, organization and spare parts management,

Plan and execute maintenance tasks,

Manage critical spare parts,

Implement a process to allow the industrial operations to keep assets in a safe and environmentally compliant condition, aligned with business expectations.

Improving the vehicle availability through scheduled maintenance plan (Preventive, Predictive and breakdown), Ensure 100% VTS functioning to know the vehicle movement.

Manage maintenance of fleets proactively in a planned manner and as per immediate requirement to keep all equipment in service.

Manage Effective & Timely maintenance of white and black part through Maximo with primary Plants or third parties

Maintaining spares for the VITT and bulk operations under his/her responsibilities.

Coordination with the site distribution officer on vehicle’s deviation through Vehicle Inspection checklist and corrective action within scheduled period.

Coordination between scheduler and carrier to perform periodic maintenance of vehicle (black & white part).

Closely work with procurement for vendor / contractor finalization for vehicles maintenance. Responsible for keeping all of the information concerning the vehicle’s service history up to date. Responsible for carrying-out the RCA for all incidents related to maintenance & Driver’s fault.

Attend crisis and emergency situations such as (Roll-over, liquid spillage, Fatality).

Close monitoring of team Over time. Target – ZERO OVER TIME.

Compliance

Ensure compliance of law of all bulk fleets with validity. Proactively apply for renewals periodically and for new licenses whenever required.

Ensure transport vehicle compliance which is under the carrier’s responsibility.

Driver’s Training

Driver’s training with respect to operating procedures, regulations, safety and quality and maintaining a record. Ordering of PPEs for the drivers at all locations.

Ensuring effective and timely driver recruitment process.

Ensure to share all incidents RCA related to road safety to improve on it.

Reporting & Documentation

Responsible for persevere all approved drawings of VIIT, Manuals, Certificates and ensure to amend it time to time with change in regulations and availability of trucks in the market.

Collect, compile and organize data to report vehicle’s availability, vehicle compliance, and industrial reporting on maintenance cost.

Timely closing RCA action plan and presenting report to management.

Team Management

Service order for BRIOS and Dalias.

Identify the team individuals strength & development needs, coach them & provide an opportunity by giving an internal project to demonstrate their talent.

Oversee Bulk logistics operational and safety training of the team as per guidelines.

Managing the PR/PO process for services and spares having the close coordination with Procurement.

Validating the invoices and processing the payments of service providers and suppliers.

Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors. All relations with subcontractors, either for service or parts must follow procurement policies through early involvement of the appropriate AL buyer.

Insurance claims management – Make sure that the details of accidents & incidents are shared with the insurance company for claiming the damage. Repair and receive the claim from insurance.

Follow-up with Accounts Payables for timely payments to transporters and maintenance service providers.

Desired Skill Set/Expertise

Bachelor’s of Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or Automobile with 4 to 6 years of experience in the field of fleet maintenance and Crisis management in Transportation industry or Cryogenics Industry.

Competencies

Knowledge in Fleets, Maintenance of VITTs.

Strong knowledge of Transportation context of his geography and associated trends.

Knowledge in PESO and Transport vehicles Compliance.

Decision making skills.
