I. POSITION SUMMARY

1. Provide Leadership to the site Instrumentation team as well as Site Construction Team.
2. Should be able to Lead the Construction of Class 3 / 4 level Project
3. Should Implement AP Safety and Quality Standards on Construction site
4. Manage Professional Relations with all Stake Holders.
5. Set Construction KPIxe2x80x99s and address Risks and Mitigation Plan.

II. DIMENSIONS:

1. Should be able to lead the team and drive the construction activities.
2. Prepare Construction Plan and Resource Requirements
3. Monitor & Control the Construction Progress.
4. Conducts weekly / monthly review meetings with Contractors / clients.
5. Manage Interface with multiple Contractors and discipline
6. Should have good Construction execution and constructability knowledge
7. Should have good Pre-commissioning & Commissioning knowledge

III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

• Result oriented, should be able to lead and drive the Instrumentation work.
• Manage & supervise contractor works to meet the project cost and schedule.
• Responsible for coordination with multidiscipline teams to solve site queries.
• Should act as an interface with engineering team to solve technical issues related to installation scope of work.
• Provide on-site inst. /control engineering consultation during construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning stage. Witness and sign off construction activities as completed, including loop functional checks, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the new systems.
• Responsible for safe execution of site activities complying AP safety & quality standards.
• Responsible for preparing/reviewing JSA, conducting safety audit and quality inspection for flawless project delivery.
• Should be familiar with FAT, SAT procedures for control system/Analyzers.
• Must be familiar with installation standards of level, pressure, flow, temperature, vibration instruments.
• Shall be responsible for vendor coordination to accomplish site related activities.

IV. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Instrumentation and Control engineering or equivalent from reputed Institute
2. Minimum 15-20 years of Experience in Process Plant Construction and commissioning with minimum 5-7 years as Construction Superintendent role.
3. 4. Hands on experience in process plant Instrumentation system installation, testing and commissioning. Experience in ASU, refinery, HYCO, Petro-chemical plants will be preferred.
