Your Role

As a member of our growing DevOps Engineering team, your responsibility is the day to day development and continuous enhancement of the Airbus Digital Platform as a Service (PaaS) layer to meet the demands of our business. The PaaS layer offers business projects across all program lines the vital building blocks they need to create new solutions for either new business services or increasing operational excellence.

To be successful, you must have an automation-first mindset and deep expert knowledge in one of the core technical domains of our platform (Cloud, Container Orchestration, Big Data, API Management) as well as sound knowledge in one of the other areas. In your role, you are part of a scrum development team and build services jointly with members of other disciplines.

Your Responsibilities/Tasks

● Collaborate with IT operations teams, advise on security best practices and ensure security requirements are followed

● Work to embed security in the DevOps lifecycle by automating the scanning and reporting of known errors, securely managing passwords and keys and to continuously improve your Security practices

● Build and maintain monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks that produces artifacts that support security and compliance needs

● Work closely with product and platform teams to engineer and implement cloud security controls with a focus on DevSecOps

● Implement a tools driven and highly automated approach to deliver key security management processes by maximizing use of existing toolsets.

● Experience with the development, deployment, and automation of security solutions

● Develop and document procedures / scripts, Implementation guides etc to automate security tasks and vulnerability management which seamlessly integrate into code builds and deployments

● Stay current on security industry trends

Qualifications:

● 3 to 5+ years of experience in development, coding or operational engineering roles, optimally used to work in a DevOps environment

● Experience in DevOps environments and maintaining security in CI/CD processes, preferably with Jenkins

● Experience with scripting preferably in Powershell or Bash

● Experience with AWS Cloud

● Experience administering databases (Microsoft SQL, Postgres etc) and basic querying and CRUD operations

● Knowledge of Windows server and client technology

● Experience in Security Source Code Analysis Frameworks (SAST open source tools like Checkmarx, GITLeaks, DefectDojo vulnerability Management tool or equivalent)

● Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube

● Experience in performing security vulnerability assessments

● Additionally good to have skill sets in the following areas below:

○ Docker / Kubernetes

○ DevOps Tools (GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible Tower, …)

○ Programming Languages (Python)

○ Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery approaches (CI/CD)

○ Artifactory (Jfrog or Nexus)

○ Log Management (Splunk or ELK)

○ Monitoring Tools (Prometheus + Grafana, ..)

○ SCM Tools (GIT)

○ Configuration management Tool (Ansible, Terraform)

○ Containerization (Docker or OpenShift)

● Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects

● French language knowledge will be an added advantage
