Job Description:-

• Conduct review of documents to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Verify declarations and documentation submitted by importers/exporters.
• Assess duties, taxes, and fees applicable for clearance.
• Post facto review of data.
• Identify and stich discrepancies in the import process to de-risk the company
• Coordinate with other government agencies and law enforcement agencies, to facilitate customs litigations.
• Provide guidance and assistance to importers/exporters regarding customs procedures and requirements to cross-functional teams.
• To assist the IT team to prepare reports on customs activities.
• Stay updated on changes in customs laws, regulations, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field, Chartered Accountant, MBA.
• Proven 0.6-3 years’ experience in customs clearance, import/export compliance, or related field.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Certification or training in customs procedures (preferred).
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., customs management software, MS Office).- Added advantage.
