The team youll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Your skills and experience

Technologies: LTE/5G Multi-Layer Optimization

• Good hands on working experience on Nokia RF optimization (OSS based KPI)

• Good understanding of Nokia BTS h/w: System Modules and RF modules and associated gains and losses of the system, experience on Air-scale products

• Be able to understand Site configuration by looking at RFDS images and be able to detect issues with configuration and propose solutions.

• Good understanding on Antenna patterns and their impact on coverage and interference. i.e. impact of MIMO and massive MIMO, diversity control etc.

• Experience on Nokia LTE KPI and Counters, Parameter and Feature Tuning in both FDD and TDD Networks

• Expertise on Nokia tools like Net Act, BTS Manager, NPM and 3rd party tools like Actix, TEMS

• Able to do Parameter Audit and implement the change to clear the discrepancy

• Can Perform KPI / Counter level analysis, can do problem isolation to arrive at an early RCA, can recommend to improve network performance

• Identify and resolve Performance degradation in the network within prescribed timelines

• Familiarity with Power Control and impact of various power setting on the LTE network.

• Traffic balancing using physical and soft parameters while ensuring KPI’s are met

• Good grasp on mobility management strategies

• Able to think out of the box to resolve complex scenarios and be able to

effectively justify the rationale behind proposed recommendations

• Able to communicate effectively while working with a large team in collaborative mode working in different time-zones

• Able to meet targets consistently and maintain complete transparency with the team

• Ready and available to Work in NAM Shifts
