Development

Key responsibilities/Job description:

• Realization of (Analysis, Development, Implementation) of HLR/HSS/5G UDM/5G EIR features, customer issues resolutions, enhancements, change requests

• Handling of Feature delivery & maintenance topics

• Responsible for the product quality & deliverables for new features and handling customer issues

• Perform high-level and low-level design of the component/functional area

• Take ownership of end to end development of features/components

• Meet the relevant project quality targets and objectives

• Contribute to R&D efficiency improvements

• Demonstrates independence and raises innovative ideas

  Skills required:

• Mandatory to have hands on with C++ programming

• MAP, SSAP, Diameter base protocol (including IMS, VoLTE interfaces)

• Unit test & Module test environment exposure

• Core Network element knowledge is desired (e.g.: any of HLR, HSS, MSS, SGSN, MME, LIMS etc)

• Domain & Protocol knowledge in the areas of SS7, DIAMETER

• Knowledge in Analysis, Design, Development, module testing, unit testing & functional testing

• Team Player, Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Hands on knowledge on Linux platform

• Familiar with debugging tool like gcov, Coverity, memory profiling tools, such as valgrind

• Team Player, Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

• Exposure to http2 and 5G would be an added advantage

• Preferable exposure – Cloud knowledge, Ansible, docker

• Python scripting knowledge is an added advantage

• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills

  Testing

• Python scripting knowledge is mandatory

• PERL, shell, Java programming is an added advantage

• MAP, SSAP, Diameter base protocol (including IMS, VoLTE interfaces)

• Blackbox testing skills & testing methodologies knowledge is mandatory

• Core Network element knowledge is desired (e.g.: any of HLR, HSS, MSS, SGSN, MME, LIMS etc)

• Domain & Protocol knowledge in the areas of SS7, DIAMETER

• Team Player, Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
