This role is part of Nokia Digital Automation group and its Product Management team. Our team is responsible of managing the products portfolio of private wireless networks and related applications and services. We are seeking to strengthen our team with a product manager having focus on IP, routing, switching, and customer infra and application layer integrations. You will also be the main product management contact for some of our key customers and partners in their product related support needs. Also, the pre-sales and technical product support will be part of your duties.
The Product Manager is accountable for the complete product lifecycle of products / services, from conception and scale-up through to ramp-down, including release update planning and execution. You ensure product competitiveness, stickiness, and excellent customer experience, as well as improve Customer Perceived Value Index through the respective product / service. You are responsible for providing updated product / service roadmaps, delivery guidelines, sales guidance as well as the achievement of revenue and profitability goals of the assigned products / services.

You will present the technical product solution and architecture for the sales teams and customers. You gather the answers for the technical questions from our team of experts, translate those to customer and sales communication material, and present the product roadmap for the sales teams and customers. You need to understand the product and related technologies in depth and be able to translate that to a language customers and sales teams can digest.
You have good communications skills, and you understand the wireless and IP technologies and network architectures (esp. IP protocols and routing, WiFi, LTE and 5G and especially WiFi interoperability with 3GPP tecnologies). You master customer network IT/OT integrations and you are ready to own the related solutions part of the product.
We expect you to have previous experience in technical product management or technical product support related roles.
To be successful in this requires good communication skills and active networking within the team and with your key customers and customer accounts. We expect you to be able to produce results fast with high quality in complex environment .
As part of our team, you will:
Create and maintain product roadmaps with R&D and the customers contacts
Launch and monitor products on the market
Keep close contact with sales and sales support teams, R&D, supply chain, industrial department, purchasing, contract management
Investigate market and competition
Listen to and understand customer needs and manage your dedicated customer accounts
Analyse and manage priorities
Identify business opportunities and draw up business plans for a given market
Promote offer (internal and external presentations, sales tools development, argument construction)
Provide technical product support and development plans for the IP, routing, networking, and customer IT/OT integrations
Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you must have previously worked successfully as a product manager through product development to commercial launch and or you have been working as customer technical product support role. You are experienced in both product and project management. You are familiar with agile SW development.
You also have:
Previous experience in working with customers in technical role
Previous experience in product management or product owner roles
Previous experience in product strategy, market requirements gathering and product requirement creation management and follow-up
Technical education – min. bachelor’s degree or similar
Knowledge of cellular communication technologies, in minimum 4G and preferable 4G, 5G, and WiFi technologies
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently
Possibility to travel to meet the customer when needed
