General Purpose The Sourcing Specialist in Indirect Sourcing Services is responsible for the procurement of products or services and supports Sourcing Managers inmanagement of indirect procurement categories for the regions. Main Responsibility Area The person is responsible for procurement expertise in defined areas. Works with other organizations to ensure that the product or service meets pre­ determined quality, technology, supply and cost criteria. Responsible for contracting and negotiating the prices with local/regional suppliers which aren’t covered by Sourcing Managers. Develops and manages supplier relationships in own area. Creates and maintains instructions and documents processes in own responsibility area.

What you will learn and contribute to

• The Sourcing Specialist in Indirect Sourcing Services is responsible for the procurement of products or services

• Supporting Sourcing Managers/Category Managers in management of indirect procurement categories for the regions

• Responsible for achieving savings, payment term increase, preferred supply base and other procurement targets

• Creating Catalogues for defined categories

• Establishing good relationship with key stakeholders

• Using preferred suppliers in order to procure goods/services

• Assisting to business in finding the right supplier for their product/service needs by providing information about the supplier base, the products/services, prices

• Overseeing the supply market, business practice and local legislation

• Responsible for initiating vendor creations/extensions and any other data maintenance in regards of onboarding

• Ensuring that procurement policies and controls are followed

• Providing local feedback of suppliers performance and products/services

• Facilitating supplier onboarding to Supply Chain Finance (SCF, reverse factoring)

• Single point of contact for suppliers and procurement/sourcing managers of all the BG’s for the enablement & management of SCF

• Liaising with all involved internal (Treasury, Source to Pay, Vendor Master Data) and external parties (SCF partner banks) for smooth daily operation of SCF

• Responsible for monthly reporting activities (SCF spend volumes, participating suppliers, Total Payable Days impact)

  Your skills and experience

• You have bachelor/Master degree and interested in Procurement/Sourcing

• You are keen to learn supplier market

• You would like to get to know contracting, quality management and cost analysis

• You also possess good capabilities for operational thinking and decision making

• What’s more, you have a good end­-to-­end process understanding

• Additionally, you are fluent in English. Knowledge in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese) would be favorable.

• Analytical skills and a good knowledge of Excel are required. Power Query and/or Power BI is a plus.
