The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset.Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

Nokia Network Operations Masterproduct supports communication service providers (CSPs) with highly automated and scalable software for managing their 5G networks.

As 5G adds new layers of technical complexity, CSPs will require an intelligent management system to deal with the fast-increasing number of physical and virtual network events that will place heavy workloads on network operation centers.

With a software-driven approach, machine learning techniques and customizable operations, Network Operations Master allows these processes to be automated and simplified, while ensuring that existing operations functionalities are kept.

What you will learn and contribute to

• Responsible for requirement analysis, component design based on cloud native principles and leading development of Microservices

• Ownership of SW/HW architecture at system component level

• Work independently, deploying, testing and troubleshooting Cloud native application

• Leading the end to end development of Features and EPICs

• Coaching SW Engineers and Specification Engineers in design activities

• Communicate Competence Development needs to Line organization

  Your skills and experience

• Should have good experience with cloud native architecture, cloud security and cloud patterns

• Strong skills on containerization using Docker, Kubernetes

• Familiarity with design patterns, domain driven design, component-based architecture, and evolutionary architecture

• Experience with Minikube, HELM, Swagger and API Gateway

• Experience with Container Management, Component Life Cycle Management, Elastic Stack, Logstash, ETCD, KeyCloak, Kafka Messaging

• Experience in designing and developing applications using GoLang and Java

• Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Helm, Ansible

• Experience on Linux, Linux Containers, Linux Namespaces, Linux CGroups and large-scale production systems

• Experience with open source PaaS environments such as Openshift and kubernetes.
