Job Summary:
The Microsoft D365 IT Functional Consultant in finding solutions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating and conducting design reviews of desired functionality that is documented and prepared for development. Coordinates with users to define needs, data availability, and requirements and resolves systems design problems. The D365 IT Business Analyst uses modeling tools to document the current state of business processes as well as the desired future state. The role will also be required to provide production support to the business users and system processes and ensure high level of IT service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be the implementation analyst of IT solutions.
Contribute in the areas of system design, project estimating, troubleshooting and problem solving
Gather requirements and map to Oracle functionality if justified but if not assist the business in finding alternative solutions.
Sets up and configuration of D365 modules to improve the business processes.
Creates unit and integrated test scenarios.
Creates working relationships with end users.
Work collaboratively as part of a project team responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing business systems
Day to day support of the Microsoft D365 system.
Resolves issues, answers user questions, and works on enhancements.
Work with outside Microsoft support group when necessary.
Tests upgrades and patches.
Document current procedures.
Perform Microsoft D365 ERP system administration functions. Must be able to multitask multiple projects / assignments Must be able to work off hours for implementations or support issues as needed Establishes and manages project timelines and resources based on input from executive management. Work with operations teams and IT resources to understand enterprise architecture requirements and to align application and infrastructure specific goals. Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to other team members and software development teams. Establishes and manages project timelines and resources based on input from executive management. Develop solutions on technical platforms to support business processes and initiatives. Ability to design and develop highly complex programs. Provide analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)
- At least 5 years of hands on experience in development, configuration and deployment of global financial business process simplification and standardization Microsoft D365
- Able to lead discussions, drive to a common solution and formally present recommendations based on findings
- B.A. / B.S. in IT or related field preferred
- Applies strong analytical skills to resolve difficult business problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Follow up with estimate based on accepted recommendations
- Use in-depth knowledge of Microsoft ERP D365 Finance & Operations, as well as functional expertise to consult with project personnel to determine scope of project needs
- Determines new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems and offers options, alternatives, outcomes and possible implications of various courses of action
- Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
- Effective project management skills.
- SQL skills preferred
- Experience working with ticketing software. Azure DevOps and Manage Engine knowledge are preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 CRM a plus
