The Manager – International Relations acts as the central point of contact for all issues relating to international mobility and cooperation. This position is required to work closely with Universities abroad and the Ministry of External Affairs to build relationships and create opportunities for international faculty exchanges and research programs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Managing the team of International Affairs to achieve assigned targets.
• Liaise with overseas agents;
• Provide guidance on international qualifications.
• Develop oversees partnerships with other institutions.
• Build and maintain Alliance University Brand and enhance the Brand Equity.
• Develop Strategic Collaborations with Universities for Joint Degree Programs, Summer Programs, Credit Transfer arrangements and Management Development Programs.
• Collaborate with Government Bodies and other establishments for Capacity Building projects.
• Maintain bilateral relations with Embassies/ High Commissions of different countries to meet the objectives of Alliance University.
• Identify opportunities for International Expansion of Alliance University.
• Build relations with international research organizations, communities and industries
• Build and leverage key relationships with external partners, agencies, and government organizations to source new international revenue streams.
• Undertake application conversion activities, including telephone campaigns and individual consultations.
• Implement marketing plans for countries.
• Develop opportunities and partnerships for overseas guest lectures and faculty exchange programs.
• Develop opportunities and partnerships for overseas research programs & incubation of research centers.
• Ensure understanding and implementation of UGC / Government of India Notifications & regulations.
• Manage routine activities of the Office of International Affairs staff and prepare reports of individual performance for periodical evaluation.
• Identify & pursue Government tenders & initiatives for the University’s international presence and exposure.

Skills Required:

• Strong commitment to and demonstrated skills for working with a diverse student population;
• Possess in-depth knowledge of various academic programmes.
• Knowledge of and experience with budget preparation and management;
• Ability to lead and motivate the team and students;
• Good administrative & operational skills;
• Ability to organize multiple admissions activities simultaneously;
• Working knowledge of MS Office;
• Excellent communication skills;
