Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement user interface strategy
• Work with designers and developers to develop modern, intuitive user interfaces for our web properties
• Work on design, look, and feel of our web properties
• Continuously improve the user experience
• Research user preferences
• Research new technologies and best practices
• Work in a team environment with shared code, disciplined use of source code control and process documentation
• Improve HTML, JS, TS and CSS quality by conducting code analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures

Requirements and qualifications

• 3 years of experience with SASS/LESS
• 3 years of experience with TypeScript and JSON
• 4 years of experience with Angular UI development
• 5 years of experience with HTML
• 5 years of experience with CSS
• 5 years of experience with DOM
• 2 years of experience with JavaScript and AJAX
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Any Specialization

Nice to Have

• Keenly aware of latest UX/UI design patterns, frameworks, libraries and guidelines across web, iOS, Android, windows etc.
• Very strong Information design & Information architecture skills – taxonomies, ontologies, facets etc.
• Strong lateral thinker; Imagine novel intuitive solutions for hard UX problems.
• Aware of nuances of cross device & cross platform solution and delivery – Grids, pixel densities etc.
• Experience of designing high complexity interfaces e.g. Retail, Finance, Big data, Banking etc.
• Extremely proficient in the latest design & rapid prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure, Adobe suite, InVision, Zeplin, Principle etc.
