Security Officer

Internal : All functions at site and vendors/visitors visiting site
External : Local Police, District Authorities and Local Authorities
Purpose of Job : Provide Security cover to all employees, property, Depot & Guest House at AMIPL/Saharanpur.
Position in the Organisation
Organisational Reporting
This position reports to Site Security Manager, Madhepura
Network & Links
The position will assist the Security Manager to intensively co-ordinate with Unit Management team and take forward the initiatives as per directives from appropriate authority from time to time.

. To ensure security of employees and their family.
. To ensure security of property, plant and Guest House.
. To ensure establishment of security processes for handling emergencies.
. To ensure good connect of organisation with all stakeholders in and around unit.

Accountabilities
Security force – permanent or third party as deployed at Saharanpur site.
Responsibilities
Ensuring appropriate measures to be taken for security of employee and material.
Ensuring implementation of policies and procedures for security of employees and material, visitors/ expats in factory or during transit.
Supporting to Maintain good liaison with local Police authorities & district administration .
Supporting the Head of security to Report & compliances as per business needs.
Maintaining discipline.
Carrying out investigations in all security breaches
Handling of Security Gadgets (CCTV, Access Control System etc.)
Business Understanding
Must have Good Knowledge of Alstom and it’s ways of working
Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements
. Graduation in any stream
Required Experience
8+ years’ experience in the field of security.
Preferable from Defence Forces/BSF/CRPF/CISF/ITBP etc
Personnel with civilian background should have minimum 10 years of experience with 3-5 years experience as Security officer in similar organisation.
Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies
Good team spirit in multi-cultural environment
Proactive, self- motivated, quick learner & adaptable
Computer literate : MS Office
Basic knowledge of Criminal Law
