Purpose of the Job :

Alstom Digital Factory is a fast-growing capability with mission to deliver digital and Innovative solutions / products to Alstom’s employees, with objective to improve business performance, and accelerate Alstom’s digital transformation.

Those digital Solutions are fully integrated within Alstom’s standard IS&T landscape (security, infrastructures, applications), leveraging innovative technologies & architectures (RPA, Data Lake, Data Analytics, Cognitive/Insight, AI/ML, AR/VR, Java/Angular, MS PowerPlatform, Azure, IoT, etc.), and delivered in agile / product oriented mode.

To sustain our growth, and increase our ability to deliver, we are recruiting an experienced Delivery Lead (Release Train Engineer).

Organisation Structure : 

Chief Digital Transformation Officer (EXCOM member)

        — Vice President Business Solutions

                — Digital Factory Director

This position reports directly to the Digital Facotry Director.  

Main Responsibilities :

The Digital Factory Delivery Lead ensures the end-to-end delivery (build and run) of solutions within the Digital Factory:

• Manages Digital Factory Build and Run within quality, time and budget targets (overall portfolio/project management and scheduling, capacity planning, risk management, quality management, etc.)
• Facilitates Agile Release Train processes and execution
• Responsible for the regular release of Features and business benefits
• Co-drives Framing/Scoping activities with Digital Portfolio Manager
• Ensures expected value is delivered as planned, and drives continuous improvement

The Digital Factory Delivery Lead also acts as Deputy of Digital Factory Director, supporting him/her on any transversal stream.

• Digital Factory Director & leadership team (Portfolio Manager, Solution Architect, all Head of Platforms, Head of Innovation)

• Technology & Security Teams & Architects
• Development Squads, and Run team
• Scrum Masters
• Business Sponsors & Product Owners

Educational Requirements :

– BE or B Tech Graduation degree

– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology, or related field

Must Have Competencies :

• Total experience of 15+ years in IS&T, in managing applications for business
• Strong hands-on experience (3+ years) on product-oriented agile delivery (SAFE, Scrum approaches), and on DevSecOps CI/CD processes, in a context of a large Digital “Factory”
• Strong hands-on experience (3+ years) on end-to-end Application Development (Architecture, Design, Build, Run)
• Solid experience (1+ years) on some of (if not all) technologies part of Alstom Digital Factory platforms (RPA, Data Lake, Data Analytics, Cognitive/Insight, AI/ML, AR/VR, Java/Angular, MS PowerPlatform, Azure, IoT) 
• Strong business acumen, ability to interact with Business stakeholders at various seniority levels, to understand business processes, stakes and value
• Strong leadership & Drive
• Collaborative & team player
• Strong synthesis abilities and communication skills
• Fluent in English.
• Self-learning qualities ability to learn new technologies

Good to have :

• Good (Intermediate to expert) knowledge on Operations Technology & IOT
• Good (Intermediate to expert) knowledge on Data pipelines & Data architecture
