ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Provide support to customer onsite whenever Quality issues are reported and give feedback to plant
2) Segregate quarantined lots at customer end
3) Follow-up with Customer facing quality team for closure of corrective actions identified
4) Do an early analysis of defective samples in the region to speedup implementation of corrective actions
5) Contribute to the Supplier Quality function by supporting the part quality inspections at supplier end
6) Understand the customer applications and inspection methodologies / testing processes
7) Synchronize the inspection methodologies between Portescap India and the customer
8) Coordinate on 8D communication between Quality team and customer
9) Handle consolidation of RMA motors in the regions
10) Track performance with key customers (in line with customer score card)
11) Build strong Voice of Customer (VOC) and customer contact
12) Proactive measures by auditing processes at plant, based on VOC & CQC (Customer Quality
Concerns) received during customer visit
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1) Ability to work in global interfaces
2) Understand Engineering drawings and documents
3) Working Knowledge of motion control solutions / end functional products is required
4) Working proficiency in usage of MS-Office Tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
5) Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle / SAP etc.)
6) Functional excellence – must possess the necessary functional and working know-how of
Quality function
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s in engineering with minimum experience of 3 Yrs in Engineering / Operations,
Experience working with international stakeholders would be preferred

Internal: Quality, Customer Service, Design & Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, PLM, Sales,
Application engineers & NPD
External: Customers & Suppliers
