Handing the import documentation and if required Export documents.
2 Regular updates and follow up with suppliers / liners
3 Dealing with various forwarders for arranging delivery
4 Regular follow up with internal departments to get updates on supplier issues.
5 Maintaining data of all clients / potential clients
6 Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports
7 Facilitates action process improvement initiatives including reduce in-transit times and storage costs
8 Maintain records for all import and export documentation ensuring compliance with all government laws and regulations; including maintaining department process documentation
9 Selection of shipment transit mode – (Sea, Air, Cargo, Courier)
10 Maintaining the List of Approved Forwarder, Negotiation & price comparing with the Forwarders for Shipment, price comparing with multiple forwarders for getting the shipment.
11 Escalation of Forwarders delay during shipment import
