Summary of the role:
We are looking for a full-stack Senior Member technical staff who is passionate on technology and building a robust technology platform that is resilient, reusable, and robust in nature. Having deeper knowledge and working exposure in systems architecture is a key trait. You will be working on a continuous evolutive and challenging product built on Angular, Java and Scalable Micro-frontend architecture.

Your main responsibilities:
Development & Design:
You will be Contributing as a core team member in the development of the Amadeus Selling Platform Connect – a flagship product for travel agencies and responsible for end-to-end architecture
Application/Technical Solution design in JAVA based on Linux Platform, cloud computing, OpenShift platform
Application ownership as an architect to propose, design new architecture for reengineering, impact analysis, solution/fix design
Quick turnaround in helping the team arrive at a solution for software evolutions, Production issues, migration activities (DB, cloud, etc)

Decision-making capability:
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and process. Your interactions with Technical/Functional experts, Managers, Development teams, Business Analysts should be factual and highly influencing, in order to make decisions.
Flexible for different types of tasks as application owner (Solution design, Sizing assessment, Development, Maintenance, etc)
You will also be fully autonomous in architectural & design decisions for the components owned

Nature of work:
Be part of the experts’ community (L4) in the department level at least and share opinion for solutions during critical issues discussed in this forum. Share best practices with other colleagues
You should be willing to work on sharable modules for different products
You should be able to self-manage the complex modules

About the ideal candidate

Minimum of 10+ years of experience with technical hands-on in full-stack development & helping other team members

Technical Expertise:
JAVA, J2EE
Cloud (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker)
Web Technologies – Angular 8 or higher, OOJS

Detailed Tech Stack:
Excellent command on OOPs in Java. Knowledge in Angular / JavaScript/HTML is good to have.
Good skills in Unix environment (Linux preferred at user level)
Good knowledge and demonstrable experience in Cloud based development (Docker container technology in Kubernetes/OpenShift preferred)
Good Knowledge on NoSQL Database (Couchbase Preferred)
Hands on experience of using data structures, extended libraries in JAVA with knowledge in classic Design patterns
Experience in XML, RestAPI is mandatory and Edifact is good to have
Good Experience with Troubleshooting and monitoring tools (YourKit, Grafana, jmeter Preferred)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment is a plus (Jenkins Preferred)
Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (NFR) and/or underlying technologies impacting final solution
Able to convey technical information to stakeholders and/ or be able to influence technical decisions
Awareness of latest technology trends and standards in the industry.

Processes:
Agile (Scrum) methodology, but knowledge in waterfall is good to have
Good Troubleshooting skills, Good Communication Skills
Perform Code reviews
Weekly reports on status of the items worked
Proposals, implementations of best processes and standard practices within the team
