Amazon Fresh is Amazon’s hyperlocal basket-grocery business, offering a large selection of fruits & vegetables, grocery & everyday products to customers – delivered within 2 to 4 hours. Officially launched in Nov 2021, Amazon Fresh is available in 100+ cities across the country. Key job responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use.
• Work closely with product, marketing and category stakeholders to understand and automate processes
• Understand trends related to Amazon Fresh business and recommend strategies to stakeholders to help drive business growth. Respond with urgency to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
• Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the direction of the business.
• The candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
• 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
• Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities
