Our team, Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS), builds the technology that enables Hand-Off-the-Wheel (HOTW) configuration management, measuring and improving configuration quality to reduce operational overhead, and increasing deployment velocity of our Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Amazon Air Gateways and Delivery Stations.

As a Technical Program Manager you will own communication, coordination and execution with technical teams to to build out new configuration management journey for TESS and enable the team to expand software solution charter for entire NA Transportation org. You will utilize strong Agile practices acting as a SCRUM Master for technical teams to provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, and extensible. You will set high bar standards and champion outcomes that result in quality outcomes. You will manage to deliver across cross functional teams, facilitate collaboration, position appropriate trade-offs between business and technical constraints and clearly communicate goals, roles, and responsibilities. 
The ideal candidate should be passionate about setting the standard for solution delivery excellence, including developing an execution plan, working cross functionally to secure commitment from technical teams and drive optimal technical architectures. You will have a demonstrated ability making data driven decisions to deliver the highest priority and impact features balancing technical challenges.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

• 2+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 2+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
