Responsible to administer the operations of computer systems related to Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization and Cloud technologies.

What will your job look like?
Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
Providing technical support for development staff and application owners.
Troubleshooting system and server errors.
Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
Manage Windows server monthly security updates, application deployments and compliance rules. (SCCM).
Maintain Windows file servers and associated permissions.
Managing user domain accounts and security groups. (AD).
Monitoring system performance.
Maintaining server architecture security.
Managing system backups.
Experience with virtualization technologies and managing VMs within a virtual infrastructure.
Assist with cross team project planning, testing and implementation.
Participate in after hours and weekend on-call rotation.
Work US daytime hours (flexible on the exact hours).
All you need is…
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
2+ years proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.
Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
Follow change management process for changes and fixes to minimize outages
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good analytical and communication skills.

Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, and similar languages for daily work and automation.
SCCM – Patching/packaging
Networking – Understanding of SD-WAN/vLAN/SD-branch/SASE
