American Bureau of Shipping Hiring for Oracle Integration Developer at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

As an Oracle Developer you will be expected to design, code, and maintain Oracle databases within a company. Preparing coding documentation and providing technical assistance to other developers along with analyzing user and business requirements and designing, implementing appropriate solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for the analysis, coding, testing, and documentation of Integration objects while adhering to departmental standards.
• Create FRICEW components in an Oracle EBS R12 environment with reference to Integrations.
• Assist with on-going maintenance requirements.
• Design and development of Oracle Applications interfaces.
• Technical support of Oracle EBS Integrations with downstream application.
• Reviews and ensures conformance with standards, policies and procedures involved with or related to the delivery of IMS services.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years previous PL/SQL development related work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Oracle Project. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in the following Oracle tools: Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML/BI publisher, Oracle Workflow, Toad/SQL developer, ISG, Shell scripting.
• Experience with XML processing using Oracle PL/SQL functions.
• Experience in Oracle Integrations.
• Familiarity with Oracle build-in dictionaries and packages.
• Experience in a software development position including all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); including requirements definition, technical designs, coding, testing and implementation.
• Prior experience working in organizations to support IT services provided to internal/external clients.
• Understanding of Oracle database design, structure, functions and processes and experience with database tools.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies to solve business problems.
• Clarity and conciseness in oral and written communications; demonstrated capability to produce effective presentations for delivery to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills to achieve process changes and departmental goals within a matrix organization; ability to communicate and work well with others at all levels of the corporation.

Reporting Relationships:

Will report to a senior level engineer or technical manager and has no direct reports. 

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
