American Bureau of Shipping Hiring for Performance Tester I at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

The Performance tester is an industrial worker who identifies the stability, scalability, speed, and responsiveness of non-functional software in a given workload.

What You Will Do:

• Minimum 4 to 6 Years of Relevant Experience in Performance and Load testing on Enterprise Web Applications.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
• Expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter.
• Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and Database Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
• Publish results. Prepare detail status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
• Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.
• Automated PE through CI / CD – Jenkins added advantage.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• Minimum 4 to 6 Years of Relevant Experience in Performance and Load testing on Enterprise Web Applications
• BCA, BE/ B Tech (CS), M Tech (CS), MCA or equivalent degree.
• Experience under iterative/agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work well in a team environment and individually.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good expertise and experience in PE testing tool using like JMeter is a must.
• Designs, develops, executes, and analyzes the performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements.
• Maintains the quality and overall integrity of the test data.
• Creates defects when issues are uncovered. Well versed with JIRA.
• Very good expertise in Scripting (HTML/HTTP, Web Services)
• Good understanding of SQL Server Architecture and SQL tuning.
• Analyzes test results and provides explanations of results to assist in the tuning process.
• Good to have experience in other PE tools like PerfMon, AWR, AppDynamics, and Visual VM
• Expertise in Fiddler, and Chrome Dev tools

Reporting Relationships:

Will report to a senior level Manager or technical manager and has no direct reports.

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
