The Diversity Manager serves as a key member of the recruiting team to provide authoritative advice on effective sourcing strategies, handle candidate pipelines, and determine areas of opportunity. This role will work closely with the Director and further provide inputs into pipeline management, diverse talent sourcing strategies and real-time feedback on strategy efficiency.
Key Success factors & Responsibilities
Identify change management opportunities and benchmark current Diversity Outreach practices to increase program effectiveness.
Prepare and implement strategy as per the enterprise goals and priorities to achieve desired results.
Develop and execute a diversity and inclusion communication strategy to ensure broad communication on all initiatives
Develop and maintain diversity metrics and recruiter scorecard to measure success of diversity hiring across the enterprise Identify and scale best practices and initiatives ranging from diversity data, branding, diversity recruiting tools ,internal and external SME partnerships.
Identify forums and associations in the region to position Amex as Employer of Choice for diverse talent
Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to build a robust pipeline of candidates through sustained, long-term relationships organizations.
Partner closely with Recruitment Leaders and Recruiters to help build and deliver inclusive recruiting learning initiatives for the talent acquisition organization.
Identify forums and associations in the region to position Amex as Employer of Choice for diverse talent
Partner and maintain strong, positive relationships within American Express across markets and at all levels in the organization
Track progress, measure success, report out on learning and results.
Be a trusted partner and work as an SME with the business through collaboration
Partnering with functional diversity leaders, CEG & GTA functions to execute on the firm’s goals
Excellent program management and organizational skills, including the proven ability to handle multiple complex projects & further develop, implement, and monitor programs and events that promote diversity across the Community
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and Post Graduate with a strong business and strategic acumen.
Equivalent experience of working in a similar environment
Minimum 12 years developing and delivering results for recruitment program with relevant 5 years of experience
Sound understanding of talent sourcing techniques and knowledge of technology (Boolean search logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, EightFold, and candidate relationship management systems).
Proficient in Microsoft office applications
Ability to work independently and attention to detail
Experience in prioritization skills with Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative and work through displaying strong project management skills
Excellent Interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to provide strategic thought leadership and lead projects with limited guidance.
The individual must be a culturally-aware strong communicator who can effectively multi-task and prioritize as business needs evolve.
Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, make decisions quickly and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
High level of integrity required
Capable of high levels of output with an optimistic Growth Mindset attitude
Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to influence without authority across peers and superiors and drive projects with little direction
