To Build, Develop, Grow and Communicate a clear, simple, customer-focused vision/direction for the Government industry vertical sales teams. Key Responsibilities –
Manage (Hire, Coach and Retain) a team of sales professionals and inculcate the right values and drive to be able to succeed in the group sales target.
Create and coach the team in a manner that they are able to consistently grow revenue.
Manage, Create and Lead the New Account Acquisition strategy and Cross Sell and Up-Sell strategy for growth of the Government vertical.
Understands and Drives the buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of the Government sector. Manages relationship with system integrators to ensure horizontal penetration into accounts.
Constantly enforce effective use of tools and gaining knowledge for excelling in business.
Lead by example, showcase excellence at senior level engagement.
Constantly review and ensure the team reflects the highest level of commitment in following the company processes (including reporting via CRM).
Guide the team to evolve practices, implement effective strategies and plans.
Partner with cross-functional resources to drive collaboration.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and represent the team / industry vertical business plan to leadership.
Network at CXO/CIO levels in various events and forums to represent the brand and company and act as a catalyst to business affecting increase in business potential.
Finally, orchestrate business and operations to achieve business-success and growth leading to become the most respected brand in the assigned industry vertical for the company.
Requisites to lead the role

– Networker: Able to build and tap into a pool of established contacts.Well connected in the Govt. & PSU vertical.
– Result-Driven: Proven ability to consistently achieve targets.
– Government Vertical Experience:Having experience in selling in the assigned industry vertical.A seasoned sales professional with a min. of 18 years of sales exp.
Additional Information:
– The role would be based out of Delhi/NCR.
– Result-oriented and independent thinker.
– 18- 22 years of experience in technology sales, preferably in areas such as software, business services, technology and telecom.
– Must exhibit wholesome experience in building and managing Sales Team and min. 5 years team manager experience is desired.
– Having excellent connections in the said industry vertical.
– Excellent Proven Experience in Managing new client acquisition and cross sell, Up-sell teams.
– A leader with strong cross-team collaboration skills and a team player.
– Experience with Enterprise/Contact Center/CPaaS/SaaS Sales is a plus .
