Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a part of fixed income trading desk, capital market and actively trading.
• Managing the proprietary trading activities in variety of fixed income instruments like government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS) and Interest Rate Futures (IRF), SDL, Corporate bonds
• Exploring the new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenario and generating profitability in trading in SLR and Non SLR.
• Maintaining and ensuring that regulatory guidelines and investment policy of the firm are being adhered.
• Managing the relationship with representatives from Banks, Primary Dealers, Mutual Funds, Insurance funds and brokerages firms etc.

Candidate Preferred:

• Should be MBA in Finance/economics from premium institution/CA/ CFA (preferably) with an excellent academic record.
• Extensive experience in onshore INR Macro Trading and knowledge of Indian rates market.
• Should have at least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS) and Interest Rate Futures (IRF).
• Well Versed with CCIL applications including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platform
• Should have good understanding of Money Market and debt market along with regulatory requirement/compliance
• Strong track record of revenue generation
• Should have strong relationship building skills and presentation skills
